It's Australia Day, a nice hot sunny day and there is a helicopter circling Bondi Beach with an enormous Australian flag. I keep thinking there must be shark patrol, but nope, it's just a huge flag. The upstairs neighbors are playing crappy 90s music, singing loudly and it smells like an ashtrash has been dumped on my front step.
And it's only 1:20 pm. Happy Australia Day!
I think getting out of this neck of the woods and heading to Liesl's party in Paddington will save the day. As will my mom's blue ribbon taco dip.
